Chaska, Minnesota-based OEM manufacturer Lake Region Manufacturing acquires assets of the Pittsburgh subsidiary of Pfizer's Schneider unit. LRM gains a line of diagnostic guidewires, a Schneider manufacturing plant, and 70-75 employees. LRM says it plans to continue to operate the facility and retain the Schneider employees. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
