Director of the division of clinical laboratory devices in the device center's office of device evaluation submits resignation to ODE acting director Alan Andersen on Feb. 12. Tsakeris is leaving the agency on April 12 to join the Rockville, Maryland consulting firm of C. L. McIntosh. Former Center for Devices and Radiological Health staffers Walter Gundaker, Robert Sheridan and Edwin Miller also work at McIntosh. Tsakeris, who has served as DCLD director since 1990, is departing after 23 years with FDA. The agency has not yet named a successor.
