Device center Director-designate Bruce Burlington meets with Hill staffer Claudia Beville on Feb. 9. Beville, who works on Rep. John Dingell's (D-Mich.) Energy and Commerce oversight subcommittee, also met with device center managers on Feb. 1 to discuss remarks she gave at the Food and Drug Law Institute's annual conference in December. At the conference, Beville discussed her perceptions of the major problems facing the device center ("The Gray Sheet" Dec. 14, p. 4).
